Who: Open to children ages 5-12 years old, no previous gymnastics experience necessary.

Where: The Batoche Community Centre, 26 Lundy's Lane CFB Kingston.

Fees are all inclusive and non-refundable

(OGF Fee & Base recreation participation fee as applicable.) 
Availability of classes may change as a result of registrations and availability of coaches. 

The Coaches

The coaches working with your children are all nationally certified by the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). They are trained to specifically meet the needs of recreational athletes.

Program Objectives

The FHGC offers the CanGym Program for our recreational athletes. Athletes will be given report card updates and will earn badges based on skills. Our main objectives are to provide a safe and fun-filled environment where children learn to work on flexibility, strength and co-ordination. The classes also focus on the fun, fitness and fundamentals of recreational gymnastics. During each class gymnasts will begin with warm-up activities and then proceed to the various apparatus. The equipment has been modified to meet the gymnast’s abilities.

General Information

• Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to class and ensure that your gymnast is promptly picked up at the end of class. If you are running late please call the club at 541-5010 ext.4955 and your child will wait in the gym until your arrival.
• For your child’s safety please be sure to walk your gymnast both into, and out of, the building when dropping off and picking up. Children are not permitted to leave the building unattended.
• For the safety of our athletes, we ask that parents remain outside of the gym during all classes.
• Please leave all valuable at home. The Fort Henry Gymnastics Club is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Dress Code

Children should wear shorts and a t-shirt, or a leotard (girls) and bare feet. Longer hair should be tied back. Children are not to wear jewelry or chew gum while at gymnastics. We now sell gymsuits. Please contact the office if you would like to look through our selection. New suits cost $25.00-$45.00 and second-hand suits start at $5.00. The inventory of gymsuits changes every 2 months.
